Hello, and welcome to my new blog! The purpose of this blog is to keep me on task with systematically reading through and contemplating the Catechism of the Catholic Church . The comments I leave may be summaries, paraphrases, connections with other writings, illustrations from my own experience, history, or current events, etc. It should be understood that my comments have no authority and that I have no special education or exceptional experience that might give special weight to my words. It is my intention to submit to the authority of the Church as the Bride of Christ. However, it is also important to bear in mind that, although the Catechism is full of references to Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition, and the Magisterium, the Catechism as such is none of these.
